Announcing Auditions!

We will be holding four separate sets of auditions. Please check carefully for your audition dates!

• Feb 17-18, 7-10PM -  Helen Keller
• Mar 3-4, 7-10PM – Annie Sullivan
• Mar 10-11, 5:45-8PM  – All children, except Helen
• Mar 17-18, 7-10PM – All adults, except Annie

Roles Available: (Adults)

• Annie Sullivan – white female, age 18-25 (this role is very demanding. Annie’s scenes are physically and emotionally intense. This role requires physical and emotional endurance and toughness.)
• Doctor – white male, 40 and up
• Kate Keller – white female, age 22-30. Helen’s mother
• Captain Keller – white male, age 40-60. Helen’s father
• Aunt Ev – white female, age 45 and up. Helen’s aunt, Capt. Keller’s sister.
• James Keller – white male, age 18-25. Capt. Keller’s son from his first marriage.
• Anagnos – white male, age 35 and up. Head of the institute for the Blind.
• Viney – black female, age 25-50. Viney is the Keller’s housekeeper. She is not a slave. Martha and Percy are her children.

• Helen Keller – white female, age 8-16 (this part is best served by an actress as close to Helen’s actual age as possible, but will most likely require an older actress. This role is VERY physical and requires good physical conditioning and endurance.)
• Martha – black female, age 6-12 Percy’s sister, Viney’s daughter
• Percy – black male, age 6-12 Martha’s brother, Viney’s son
• Jimmy Sullivan – white male, age 7-10. Annie’s younger brother
• Blind Girls – white females, age 6-16. Multiple roles available.
